    I think the note thing is a good idea tbh, like you said there’s nothing to lose. We put a note through on a property which had already been sold basically saying hey if it falls through please let us know - they did text us but unfortunately we weren’t in a position to move then (just had a baby) but I’m glad we did it anyway.

    Unrelated, but fast forward to now and I’m feeling pretty gutted - last year I posted that we fell in love with a house which had been listed for 18 months... I thought it was best to see it in person before ringing the agent and somehow in the couple of hours it took to get there, it was sold.

    More recently we loved another property, it’s been listed for over a year, but has a big problem that made the house a no go for us. Yesterday I finally decided to call and ask just how big the problem is - turns out it’s not really a problem at all, but the house sold an hour before I called :/

    Feels mad to have two houses on the market for over a year each and to miss out on both by an hour. Sorry for the rant haha
