So I thought this was one of the most immersive games I've played, the artwork was just stunning. But I'm left with too many loose ends. I'm particularly annoyed because I did not realise that the broken sign gave access to Ned's secret hideout, so I missed that entirely and of course can't go back there now the game has ended. Which means I never triggered the dialogue where the mystery about those notes left between the two rangers/watchers was cleared up - can anyone enlighten me or point me in the right direction?

Bit annoyed as this is the second time in a week this has happened to me in a walking simulator - I also unintentionally triggered the ending in Everybody's Gone to the Rapture about half way through the game, before I'd seen half the content.
