Always found the Sonic games easy. Played to death in my child hood, never really felt like they took much skill though. Dying had no real repercussions as extra lives were dotted all over the place and you can easily collect 100 rings over and over again. The only real challenge IMO of Sonic 2 was collecting all of the emeralds. Maybe that was part of the charm for me. At 6 years old I could sit there and just push through it, I never got bored. Games like Golden Axe and Alien Storm tested my limits. I don't recall finishing either but came close on a number of occasions and that just made me play them more. *sigh* nostalgia. Anyway, if you're looking for more of a challenge give Mario: The Lost Levels a try. Used to love that on Mario All Stars but even then I noticed the jump in difficulty. I agree with wobbly bob. The more you played the better you got. Levels at first may be a tad unpredictable but after a while you adjust to the flow and know what is coming. Edited by Cannon_Fodder at 10:07:20 23-06-2014 |
