Every thing was fine with origin when I was on Windows 8 (using stardock so hadn't bothered upgrading to 8.1), I then upgraded, and the scaling had gone wrong on the desktop, so reapplied it and all was good with everything. Apart from Origin games.

I'm running it at 1920x1080, which is the native res of the monitor, I'm not aware of having changed any crazy origin settings but will have a gander, cheers.

@technotica - will give that a go too . ..
