Well for ease, and because I'm really happy with it, I went for another Coolfire Plus with the iSubG.

When it arrived I unscrewed it for a fill, and the bottom of the tank was very slightly chipped and the ring fell out. Contacted the vendor and they've been great, asked for a photo and then said they'd send me a new tank.

Have I possibly had a result, in that a very small chip on the outside of the tank and the seal falling out has got me a free tank? I haven't tried it yet, I wanted to contact the seller asap. Or is it not worth trying, but at least I have some spare parts?

Any thoughts most welcome
