    But probably not worth the bother if they are going to send you a new one.

    Thanks buddy, as soon as I posted that I knew it was a silly question and the best I'd get was a polite and correct 'try it and see' (although thank you, you've been much kinder and more helpful)!

    Really impressed with the seller through Amazon so I'm going to give them a shout out here - Vaporcombo. I simply sent them a photo of the (tiny) chip and a day later I got a brand new Innokin tank.

    I'm not sure if there's a problem with the seal as I didn't check it before forcing it back in (before I noticed the chip), and now it sits so deep in the bottom of that part of the tank. Again only trying it will make things clear!

    The chip is nothing major I don't think. It's on the outside of the tank and isn't sharp so fingers crossed!
