I think this has to be viewed in the greater realm of what gaming TV there is. If he had tried to purely embody Digitser of the past then it would have been great for some of us, and had nothing for anyone new. I liked the weird bits, but respected they were rare enough to avoid putingt anyone off. As a pilot for a retro-gaming show that could take off, I think it works. You have to remember that the budget is minuscule; even the set is amazing in that light. Ultimately I enjoyed it and would watch again. If it succeeds I think it would grow into something really entertaining. |
