    Batman: Arkham City
I was blown away by Arkham Asylum so I had high hopes for the sequel and they were mostly met. It's more of the same, by and large, with some relatively minor improvements on the stellar combat and stealth mechanics. I don't think the open world really adds a lot to the original formula, except perhaps in allowing more space for Riddler challenges. Side quests were great but I would have liked more of them. The story and characters were the biggest let-down. It seemed like the writers were just trying to cycle through as many villains as possible, without ever really developing them; the ending felt seriously truncated. I guess an open world was the only way forward for the series but I preferred the much tighter, plot-driven experience in Arkham Asylum. Still, it's a great game and I really love this series. 9/10

    Thomas Was Alone
A pleasant, simple puzzle game that's probably a bit too long. Enjoyable but nothing to write home about, really. 6/10

    Wolfenstein: The New Order
Solid shooter with some cool stealth mechanics and a decent plot. There are some major problems with texture pop in on the PS3 that I found pretty disappointing. The first few chapters of the game are easily the best; the pacing in the later chapters is much too fast and just weird. Had heard horror stories about the final boss but it didn't give me too much trouble on medium difficulty. Definitely worthwhile but I don't think it delivers on its initial promise. 7/10
