Recently got PSVR so here are a few scores for some Vr stuff: Farpoint Really enjoyable, the aim controller feels amazing to use and the visuals are great. The actual gameplay is a pretty generic, but in VR... 8/10 Firewall:Zero Hour Didn’t get on with this at all, felt really ropey. Lots of glitching and the ai is woeful. Online, the only people playing it are absolute pros so the learning curve is a cliff face. Experienced lots of controller drift too, not a patch on Farpoint. 4/10 Batman: Arkham VR Amazing experience, perfectly designed for VR. Putting on the bat suit and actually becoming Batman was incredible. 9/10 Robinson: The Journey Pretty average, but there are some good set pieces and you know, dinos. The story is very generic, voice acting poor and the VR controlls a bit woolly. 7/10 Moss What a game. Ideally designed around a sitting VR experience where peering around the detailed landscape and helping the stunningly well animated character was wonderful. Like astrobot, it finds a clever way to make you as the player a character in the world. 10/10 Astrobot So many clever little ideas in one game. A joy to play too, it controls really well and it’s unashamed “this is a video game the controller is even part of the world” thing works perfectly. The lack of being able to go back in levels is the only slight niggle. 9/10 |
