Plague Tale: Innocence A refreshingly linear, single player, story driven adventure. The characters are great, in particular the developing bond between the main sister and brother. It never gets partially taxing (a good thing) but it varies things up as different upgrades unlock and at around 10 hours it's the perfect length. It looks incredible in places too, the number of light sources and rats running about was jaw dropping. I do sometimes feel that collectables should be unlocked on the second play through, always a bit weird when it's supposed to be tense or time limited and you are scouring round the edges of the level. 9/10 |
