Death Stranding. 10/10 It's actually pretty difficult to articulate my thoughts on this game... I found it incredibly compelling (more so than most games I've played even) and played it compulsively but I can't quite explain why. The story was nonsensical, but the Kojima weirdness just about redeems it. The music and aesthetic in general is sparse but really effective (I have been listening to Trigger by Major Lazer and Khalid, featured in the game, on repeat for the past few days). Everything just seems to work in this game, and I think the fact I can't quite figure why is actually why I loved it so much. Worth experiencing purely based on how unusual it is (tip: get past the first two chapters as quickly as possible - nothing is missable, so don't worry about any optional quests, etc.).
