Black Mesa Been itching for some Half Life after seeing all the videos of Alyx and this is one that will run on my MacBook! It's a great remaster (remake?) of a classic. It's amazing how fresh the flow, puzzle rooms and environmental storytelling still is. The visuals have had a massive upgrade but it's all been done sensitively, it's one of those that seems exactly how remember it and until you go back and look at the original on YouTube! They've also made some small tweaks to levels and quality of life improvements, but the biggest change is the Xen alien world levels towards the end. These have been vastly increased with new encounters and puzzles. Unfortunately this is where it fell down a little, although the new areas were fun there was just too many repeated puzzles, platforming sections or chase sequences.
