Doom Eternal - PC I mostly really enjoyed it but there were some ludicrous difficulty spikes, possibly made more difficult by my not optimising my weapon configurations ideally for end game fights. I lost hours to both the final arena and final boss fight and my patience had really worn thin. The majority of everything before then was great though. Lucius - PC One of my picks for seasonal horror games to play over this and next month. Janky poor man's Hitman inspired by The Omen. It was funny for the wrong reasons in several places (in the face of the majority of it being quite terrible in execution) but I felt compelled to play it all of the way through. Badly executed but I liked the idea behind it and it had its own charms. I've played the first few missions of the Lucius Demake that's made to run like a C64 game and I confess I prefer it to the original. This confirms my personal view that Lucius had potential to be something reasonably good but was let down by the execution. Still, I didn't hate the experience. |
