Cyberpunk 2077. 8/10. Was able to play this on PS5 and, for the most part, performance was good and it looked incredible. Totally appreciate all that's been written about the bugs, and I had some of that, but ultimately it didn't impact my enjoyment of the game significantly The combat, progression system and driving are strong (though a little unbalanced) but it's the writing and the world that really caught my attention. The dialogue, storylines and voice acting, particularly in the side quests, are just of a really phenomenal high quality which is quite rare in even the best games. I'm not usually a fan of open world games, and sure enough there's plenty of tedious filler content here, but I really just loved V, Johnny (great performance by Keanu Reeves!), and the cast of interesting and compelling characters. I completed most of the side quests and 'gigs' (minor side quests) and got one ending in about 90 hours - from what I've read, there's probably another 10 hours of content left, but I'll probably leave it for a while or until DLC comes out before I go back to it. Definitely worth playing on PS5 even in it's current state IMO. |
