Returnal. 10/10 I don't think a game has really gripped me this much since Bloodborne! It's extremely difficult, especially early on, and I frequently considered just giving up, but I persevered and I'm really glad I did. This is easily one of the best games I've ever played, just absolutely stunning and incredibly compelling in pretty much every way. Resident Evil Village. 7/10 Fails to deliver on the promise of RE7, and it just feels kind of rushed and thoughtless a lot of the time (especially with combat, but also with puzzles). Nontheless, I enjoyed it as an RE fan, and the I thought the ending/epilogue story was great. I'll definitely get RE9 whenever it comes out, but maybe not at full price like I did with this one ... |
