    As far as I can tell the original Tegra X1 is still being retired. However, since 2019 Nintendo have been using a modified version of the X1 they call Mariko, which first appeared in the Switch Lite and then also replaced the standard X1 in the docked models. When Nvidia announced they were killing X1 production I'd assumed Mariko would be retired as well and Nintendo would maybe adopt one of the newer Tegras for any new consoles. Seems that's not the case just yet.

    Nvidia are really struggling to meet demand for new silicon at the minute, so that may have been a contributing factor to keeping Mariko for as long as possible.
