Anyone have an idea about this plot hole/confusion:

Seems kind of crazy that Luv can just waltz into the police dept and assassinate Lieutenant Joshi. This is quite shortly after she kills Coco the lab tech.

She was seemingly not met with any resistance. Did she storm the police Terminator style? She is only one replicant, and weaker than K. How did she slip in so soon after just assassinating someone else there.

I guess it makes sense if we're to understand that Wallace basically own the LAPD, but then why would they even need to do a mission like this and not just tell the police to give them information,

Very minor nitpick in an otherwise luxurious film.
