and the door has just gone, it's a man with an official SNES controller. Finally my setup is complete. one RGB NTSC NES with two official controllers one all-region Super Famicom with one official controller one XRGBmini upscaler two HDMI cables two scart cables one scart switch box one HDMI switch box one scart to JP21 converter one UK NES AC adaptor one Megadrive AC adaptor one NES everdrive flashcart one SD2SNES flashcart 45 NES carts 7 SNES carts One English XRGBmini controller overlay Up till today I've been switching cables in and out of everything and using an aftermarket SNES pad with a 1ft cable which I had to take apart and fix as soon as I got it. One foot cable ffs. I was practically in my TV. Now when I hook all this up I should have access to every single NES, Famicom, Super Famicom and SNES game (except Action 52, L'Empereur, Stunt Race FX, Mario RPG, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Kirby 3 and a few obscure other SNES & NES titles), on original hardware, at 720p, within a button push or two. Oh fuck, I've still got hack some more shit off my super famicom. I'll do that tonight as well. What did all that cost me? about £1,400 I reckon. Or you can do the same thing with a Raspberry Pi for about £25. LOL Edited by Jazzy_Geoff at 18:21:51 07-05-2015 |
