I tried doing one of the late game missions with six Rookies. They put up a valiant fight but in hindsight they had no chance, RIP you brave heroes. I was trying to get the trophy for successfully completing a late game mission with only Rookies but when you come up against Andromedons, Vipers, Elite ShieldBearers and a Sectopod then you know things are going to end badly...
