Xcom needs a bit of horror to work for me, where the aliens are actually scary. That's why the original x-com is so good, and the first Firaxis Xcom as well. Xcom 2 was fun and so is this, but neither grabs me the same way.

Mood is important in a game I guess, and that is difficult to get right. Still, Chimera is a bargain for the price.
