What kind of builds are you guys using for your characters with the Astora Greatsword?

I have mid 30s for str/dex/faith. I thought a sharp infusion would be best due to the S dex scaling, but it still only hits for around the same damage as my lightning battle axe, which is much faster and lighter. I know the AGS is buffable, but for PvE it seems a little underwhelming?
