So I picked the GOTY up in Steam Sale.

I kinda wanna do something different from my usual "giant weapons smack smack" or "fast weapon slash slash" and I realized I have NEVER used spears in a Souls game. Like never.

Are they worth it in this one? Might be fun to create a turtle build with a big ass shield and spear. Anyone used them in this? Recommendations?

Also is Pyro worth doing as a side vocation? Or does it need major stat investment?
