It's not for everyone, simply put. Doing 6 of the same quest type in a row is probably going to highlight the simplistic systems quite quickly. Equally, however, what is tedious now may not be in future given the interpolation of systems and players being different at another time. Its main weakness is, I think, that the nature of ots design means some sessions will be rather quiet, by chance. But when it shines it is unlike most games in many ways. |
