    I don't want to be reminded that it's just a movie. That's how movies work and why I personally enjoy them. My brain shouldn't be telling me "Wait a second, that doesn't make much sense, the directors put that in because..."

    The similar scene in Infinity War worked much better - because it made sense.

    There's different reasons to dislike it. It by no means ruined the film or anything to that degree, it was just poorly done and made no sense in the context of the film (which is the only context I want to care about!).
