If there is one thing I've learned the last couple of years, it's this; always bet on stupidity prevailing. I would like to be proven wrong but I doubt that Trump doesn't get a new term. And even if he does, you still have the problem that the other guy will get elected by a narrow margin which means a significant part of the population thinks he's great. Trump is not the problem, wilful ignorance of a large part of the population is.

It's the same with issues here on the other side of the pond but the damage is less clear outside the UK because most other EU nations don't have a broken two party system.
