    @Dizzy My biggest fear about the current wave of VR is that it fizzles out before we get a version that really shows what it's capable of. Ends up as a rare and expensive niche product 2nd hand on eBay locked at a max resolution of 2160x1200. The screen resolution is clearly the biggest issue with it at the moment (not counting raw GPU grunt needed to power it even as it stands).

    Even 4K won't be enough and it's probably not until we can have 8K screens that we might get the the point where visual fidelity is no longer a barrier to complete immersion. But you just know going up to having 2160 vertical lines per eye is going to make a massive improvement over where we are now and it'll be a crying shame if we never get to see it.
