    -Expensive hardware? Nope.
Considering that you bought a vanilla PS4, then upgraded to a Pro mid-generation, while I've been on practically the same hardware since the beginning of this generation then the gap isn't a mile wide. Upgrading is only bad when PC users do it, though, right?

    -Tinkering with hardware and software?
Something that's always bandied about, but very few people I know actually spend that much time having to do this. Between the GeForce Experience and auto-detect settings it really is a non-issue. Besides, it's not like moving a few sliders for the first 5 minutes after installation is taxing is it?

    -Incompatilbities? Nope.
On the rare occasion that something isn't working right, then you can usually find the answer in 5-10 minutes. It's amazing how many people can use a forum, but using google is beyond them.

-Hack users? Nope. The worst you'll run into is KB&M users and maybe lag switches. Even if there were hacks out there, they'd be so rare, you'll probably never run into one. 3% of all users on Steam have a VAC-ban active on them for cheating. Given that not everybody plays online games, and not everybody gets caught, I'd estimate up to 10% of any given playerbase is cheating in some form or another.
You estimate? Who are you again?
Another point that's massively overblown. VAC can ban for things other than cheating in MP matches as some MW2 players found out the other year.
I play primarily MP games and I barely see it.

-Toxic chat? There is no chat. VoIP is optional. No cheaters, less toxicity, in general.
You do know that in a lot of games the chat box is entirely optional?

-Shitty admins? Never been an issue for me on consoles, and there's been an abundance of official servers.
I've been banned by salty admins on console BF3 before.

-TTK is so differnt in a gamepad-only environment, developers often balance the same game differently to account for that. I think a higher average TTK allows for more fun.
This is just opinion. A lower TTK can make games more tactical, but horses for courses.

-The playingfield on consoles is so much more even on consoles, even with PS4 Pro in the mix. Nobody has a three screen setup with a 180 degree FoV, playing on G-synched 144hz monitors with dual Titan X's firing on all cylinders. Nobody has tryhard graphics settings disabling effects for an edge.
Yeah, there's a very slight advantage that can be had, but as long as people are hitting 60 fps minimum, it's not huge. A decent internet connection is far more important and not everyone has one of those.

I'm not here to convert you and I've nothing against consoles. I really couldn't give a fuck if you're playing BF1 on a colecovision. It's the same old shite trotted out every time that gets irritating, though. You only needed to add something about comfy couch gaming and it'd be full house in the mongoloid bingo.
