Avoiding the oval (as I had read was very wise to do if I valued playing the game clean in the near future) I think the minimum wait time I saw was 10 minutes. Add in loading and the time it takes to start and finish and it was comfortably taking 20-25 minutes in total to do a 4 minute race.

Anyhow, my point was that this is Gran Turismo on the most successful console going, surely they have enough players to be running races more frequently?
