Comic wanker here, but am enjoying the liberties taken with the source material - season 1 for me was largely very enjoyable. That hell episode with Saint of Killers was one of the best TV episodes I've ever seen, so well done! Season 2 definitely lost it's way, but the hints about Jesse and his family past was enough to keep me intrigued for how they'd do it in Season 3. Haven't had the chance to catch-up on season 3 yet (other than the opening episode) but by the sounds of it improves on the second season.
