That's a good point. Still, economic integration can only be a good thing, andyou would think make war less likely, although I know people said the same before WWI
Yeah, in the 19th Century after the Napoleonic Wars up to WW1. That's generally recognised as the longest and most stable period in European History. Though obviously the current situation is getting there.
Sorry, I know the conversation has moved on a bit, but I think the EU has been pretty successful on this. Has there ever been a similar peruod of stability in Europe?
