Yeah I think there was a story going round that Farage shortened the pound by proclaiming remain had won when he was privy to polling data that said leave had won.
Wasn't there some Brexit backing hedge fund guy who made millions betting against the economy in the aftermath of the referendum? I remember thinking at the time that it was Forex stuff but can't recall.
If you could pretty much guarantee which way a currency was going, you can make eye watering Forex money that absolutely dwarfs anything you can make elsewhere.
Not that I'm saying that's what's happening here, mind.
