    The issue of Freedom of Movement is central to all of this, I know, but does have some fairly serious issues. In principle it is a great idea, but surely it can only really work as designed if there is an EU-wide minimum wage, rather than the current setup? You could also argue that it will only really work if there is a single EU language as well (step forward Esperanto!), to provide all members with the ability to work in any member state. The current system works nicely for big business, I suppose, so is unlikely to change.
