I'm not proposing clemency or appeasement for the arseholes who got you into this - the media, the government, the business leaders and shadowy cabals.

But sympathy and support for the people who were, and continue to be, lied to has GOT to be the way forwards for you guys. That doesn't mean liking Brexit, or acknowledging it even - but just coming together as a nation in spite of all the rhetoric trying to divide you
Not only in the context of brexit but more in general; my problem with this is that it absolutely absolves the people from any lack of critical thinking, their obligation as voters.

It's not the politicians, the government, the business leaders, or shadowy cabals who voted the UK out. It's the voters. They are the sole people responsible for it. At any point the majority could have said: "Well, this whole thing is just utter bollocks." and that would have been the end of it. But here we are. If you voted brexit and people lose because of that, then yes, you are responsible. At the very least fess up to that and don't shift responsibility.
