Here's a good one - currently in France there is no reciprocal agreement in place post Brexit for UK driving licences. So pre Brexit (if you're a resident in France) if your licence was expiring or you did something that would result in penalty points you would exchange your driving licence for a French one. Currently it is not possible to exchange licences, as there is no Franco-British agreement on the exchange of diving licences and UK driving licence exchanges were not covered EU-wide in the new future relationship deal. So a shit load of people are worried as their right to drive in the EU on UK licences will end on the 31/12/21 and they cannot exchange. Apparently a reciprocal agreement is being worked on, but there is no time frame as to when it'll be done. |
