Picking up on @crashVoodoo's comment there. I bought a Samsung Q7F in January. It's great but there is definitely some light bleed or clouding or something going on in the left-hand side of the screen. There's also a slight stutter that happens every minute or so on live TV. They aren't the worst problems - my missus doesn't really notice them - but having paid £1100 for a TV I'd like to be completely satisfied with my purchase. Anybody had experience with bringing these issues up with the manufacturer/retailer? Would they replace the TV for these kind of issues? I have registered the warranty with Samsung, and I got a free extended warranty with Richer Sounds. Is it worth contacting one of them to sort it? Do they take this kind of thing on good faith or do you have to send it off for testing or something? |
