    It's all down to automated processing and greedy fucks ordering ten at a time to ebay. The tracking numbers were probably also part of an automated system. They've only broken the contract if they took money while knowing the product was out of stock. Consumer Rights Act does have protection for the sellers too, for system glitches etc.
    Happy to listen to you guys but can you quantify any of this?

    From what I've read, and I'm happy to be pointed at something else, it's pretty black and white that they've formed a contract as per their own T&Cs.

    Frogofdoom, Yes I agree it's likely the backend works like that, from my perspective it further confirms they've broke the contract as there is no "clean/official" way to return the items, but that's perspective for you :)
