She might not end up being American in the show either, as they're hinting she was born during WWII and so could easily be from Nazi Germany and brought to America by Vought.

I think in the comics Homelander was actually created using Stormfront's DNA. Wonder if in the show they'll follow that route, or even go further and have Stormfront as Homelander's biological mother. Would explain some of her behaviour towards him, and why she disappeared in 1979...
