I generally really like Destiny 2, but I have five gripes:

1. The raid is structured in a very annoying way. Even having a checkpoint, you still have to fight your way through the Castellum or traverse the Underbelly every time, which is not difficult or challenging, but is time consuming and annoying.

2. Raid loot is more or less shit. The raid gear has - as far as I can tell - nothing notable in comparison to regular purple gear, and no perks that might help you out in the raid. Same for the weapons. Some good weapons, but then, nothing special. Compare that to WotM.

3. The Nightfall timer is good when it's killing enemies for time, and I think prism is okay, although I would rather the modifier where enemy shields need to be matched. But the anomalies are just tedious. They are challenging, but not fun. I get them done every week, but never want to go back. I can remember a particularly fun Omnigul Nightfall months back that was bastard hard, but it was fun. This Nightfall in particular, with a boss who hides for most of your time was obnoxious.

4. Strikes. There needs to be more, and they need to be selectable, and the challenges should be listed outside the strikes in the menu before you load in.

5. The Ghaul story line (and cutscenes) were all bollocks. They led nowhere. I suppose that doesn't matter in late game, but still. Most of the cutscenes did a very poor job of communicating the story. For example: Ghaul doesn't want to take the light, he wants it given to him. His mentor says take it - Fuck you, I'll do what I like. Kills mentor, then takes it anyway. Whut? Also, why blow up the sun? They already conquered Earth. Also, do the guardians get their light back at the end? Who knows. Would've liked to see that clearly in the final scene where they were all happy on the Tower. Seems like it might be important.

Anyway, I really like the game, but it has some big problems.
