    Just managed to finish off the pukei pukei by myself earlier this evening, then an Anjanath (the T-Rex?) after a gruelling 45 minute chase, which finished today’s session. I’ll head to the wastes tomorrow and I feel confident enough now to try joining one of you in your games.

    Still don’t know how to do traps or life captures, but like so much with this game, I’ll look it up on-line. Without outside guides, videos and tips, the sheer volume of menus and concepts that this game bludgeons me with, I would’ve given up a long time ago.

    Dammit the ecology and monsters are cool though. The dodo keeps leading me to other monsters, the greater yellow lizard is fun after it has bloated with a fresh meal and I’ve started noticing that the Pukei Pukei can only use its poisons after it has consumed certain herbs.

    I’m running bounty quests in series now, trying to earn more Armor essences. I’ve almost upgraded my bone weapons and Kulu Armor set as much as I can.

    Time to make my mark on a new area and team up with others for bigger kills.
