My Home mini is steaming a Spotify playlist in the background right now. I use it for timers often, weather reports, various Google enquiries, just loads of stuff.

Tried a trivia quiz with the family over Christmas. It was ok, did a good job of recognising everyone's voices, but won't bother with that again.

Very useful in multi user environment. Me, the good lady and our two boys have each set it up to recognise our voices. Individual reminders and timers are cool.

Definitely getting a proper Google Home when they are next in sale, will keep it in the kitchen for toons when cooking.

Will probably get a chrome cast for the TV, to use voice activation there. And a couple of light bulbs at some point.

Looking forward to having text messages integrated soon, they've got that in USA already.
