After a lot of perseverance, finally completed Act 4 with the defect, to have completed the game with the 3 original characters. I've come close a couple of times, taking the heart down to less than 100 health, but a lack of block generation cost me on those occasions. For the winning run, the lynchpin was managing to pick up 2 x Echo Form (play first card twice each turn) and 2 x Defragment+. So, playing Echo Forms on subsequent turns meant 3 cards get played twice, and then racking up the Focus. At that point, frost orbs were taking care of most of the block, which left me with an array of claw cards and other physical strikes to deal damage. Evoked lightning orbs were doing serious damage with a bit of Lock-on, also. Time to play as the Watcher, still haven't tried her yet ... |
