    Yeah, the UCI has really opened up the races they can be used in. I'm a fan, although I actually think road racing is a place where they're most problematic because of tight setup tolerances, axle standards etc.

    Having watched two of my holiday companions write off carbon clincher front wheels coming down the Zoncolan, makes you realise that discs are an objectively superior method of stopping than rim brakes.
