I work for quite a large software company and I saw a slide from out HR VP last week regarding cash payments for new hires.
Not a new thing, if you recommend a friend you get a few quid.

However, this time round there are two tiers...

Standard Hire: Ł2000
Diverse Hire: Ł5000

I suppose I’m “standard” and probably have been for a few years now, but it didn’t sit all that well with me and nothing the HR bod said made it sound... I dunno..! fair!
