Bit of a tangent, but I once convinced my wife that Claire from Steps had had to have an amputation because of diabetes (can’t remember why, probably just found it amusing) then forgot to tell her I was full of shit. About two weeks later I found her trying to convince a group of strangers at a party that this was the case, in the face of mounting proof to the contrary. That was a frosty drive home. |
