Never bothered ever using ichimonji. It was whirlwind slash for most of the game in combination with mortal draw when I felt like burning through my spirit emblems. I also never used the normal charge attack. It was shuriken first quarter of the game, then for a short moment the spear untill I found the umbrella. I always used the fire crackers during the whole game.

In my second run I will go for living weapon upgrade for sure. Anyone used it and is it any good?
