@RichDC Not a single micro-transaction in sight. RichDC wrote:Somewhat worryingly at first, there IS a special currency in the game (Kudosh) that will allow you to unlock additional furniture, but this currency is earned exclusively through achievements and there's no way to buy it with real money. So, bullet avoided. There's also an option to compete with people on your Steam Friends list for this Currency (even if they don't owe the game, so likely Two Point will turn you into an advertiser if you poke them. That's the game's shtick.), but this option is easily ignored and restricted to a tiny button to the very top-right of your screen. It's an extra and otherwise Two Point is fully feature complete and an improvement upon the classic. I actually played Theme Hospital not that long ago on GoG. Maybe last year? Two Point is exactly how I remember Theme Hospital to be, only more slick. It's a very faithful remaster with extra bells and whistles added. I especially like how this time, the staff and patients have an actual personality in Two Point. They can be funny, caring or grumpy aside from their skill rating, which influences people they interact with. They now level up their skill automatically and you can assign them extra talents like a tiny RPG, like being better at either treatment or diagnosis. Sweet! Boredom and hunger is also a factor now, so you can sell them more crap at the gift shop for entertainment, or hand them a wicked salty-snacks + drinks vendor combo, since the salt makes them thirsty enough to buy drinks. Probably all I needed to say. ![]() Edited by Skirlasvoud at 18:06:23 31-08-2018 |
