It's bookmarked by short moments of audio/text story. I didn't find the story particularly interesting (it wasn't bad either, it was passable) but the core mechanic of exploring the repairwork with the characters providing context for their importance was compelling. I'd love to see this idea expanded into something that wasn't quite as basic, the most complex repair was also the most interesting (a couple of them involve some light puzzle elements). Shame it caps well under a couple of hours and doesn't aim for anything with even a little complexity. 6/10 #33 Mini Motorways I think I prefer Mini Metro, but this is a competent sequel that adds a few extra wrinkles into the formula. 7/10 #34 Donut County I was honestly hoping for a little more of a game from this one. I enjoyed the playbox style levels and the story was cute and funny but there wasn't really any added depth to the mechanics. Even just a scored mode would be a nice expansion on the "drop everything down a hole" gameplay. 7/10 Edited by uberbeard at 11:49:40 13-10-2019 |
