Kirby Star Allies My son is 5, I bought 'him' this for Christmas for us to play through together, I was expecting to control Kirby and him play as one of up to four friends you can make per level. Except it's so obvious he ended up playing as Kirby through most of it (apart from the final boss battle) and I was relegated to player two. Can't recommend it enough. Fun, bright, fairly simple buttons (jump/fly, attack, friend) and all round joyful stuff. And once you've finished the main story, there are remixes, score attacks, boss rushes... and there are several minigames included too. I'm also looking forward to Yoshi in two months, as that looks like more of the same. I've bought Starlink, but having had a quick go, I think this is more a 6+ thing, it's a bit more involved than Mariokart. Edited by Coughthulu at 14:01:00 18-01-2019 |
