Experiences can differ but would say i too have worked in higher ed including as a lecturer and recently in institutional curriculum design and the issues at this HEI have been mirrored at others where collegues work and are a current hot topic in national forums There are issues with students but within the normal type and frequency of problems - issues regarding staff are outside of this frequency and increasingly public and with far more instances of formal approaches through SUs and institutional responses on not just individual cases but more worryingly on institutional processes that affect all current and future learners. |
