I think Corbyn's time has passed really. He did very well in May's snap election but they have handled Brexit very poorly. This may not even have been his fault particularly because I am not sure it was possible to handle it well given the split in Labour supporters in regard to the remain/brexit vote. There was no pleasing everyone in that situation though I think Corbyn pretty much masterfully owned the not pleasing anyone platform. At this point I think they need to step aside for someone who won't be tainted by the whole Brexit mess. |
